Remote Desktop to Apple Xserve Server

Does anyone know the easiest way to connect via a remote desktop/VNC session from my XP laptop to this Apple server, i'll be doing some troubleshooting on this servers backup software tomorrow. Step by Step instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know if this is relevant but the connection will be from within an Active Directory enviroment.

Also, I'll want to use this procedure to connect to users G4/G5 and mac books in future as well.

Desperate for a solution.

There are two different versions of Apple's Remote Desktop. The older one I'm not sure about, the newer one is just a VNC with some funky stuff added. You can use tightvnc viewer to connect. There's a thread where I poked around until I figured it out.

got it resolved in the end with some support, the rdp client on the server was old, 10.3.x it was, updated to a latest version, http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/appleremotedesktop32client.html , and then could use any viewer from any machine, xp, server 2003 to vnc to the OS X Server machine, use chicken, ultravnc and they both worked.
