I have no idea who owner is. Metro Police says POPI act prevents them from finding it out. That was my second phone call in October. The one tyre is completely flat now

Does the security not record the details of the driver for vehicles entering the premises? Cases where I have experienced security not recording details is if a resident provides some sort of a access code, which would have meant someone had to know the driver of the vehicle.

We had a wreck parked on our pavement for months, and the owner could not be traced. In the end we dragged it into the street which made it an obstruction for traffic. A group of us complained to metro individually and metro eventually came and towed it.

If its private property, surely the owner of the property can say i don't authorise this car to be here? And so it MUST go regardless of how or who its done? Maybe leave a note on the windscreen saying in 7 days it will be forcibly removed?

This is without doubt the easiest solution... make a plan to borrow some of these from a garage/panel beater etc- 4 of these and a bit of pushing power and you can move the car wherever you like, regardless if the steering column is locked.

I cannot understand how the managing agents and body corporate doesn't do anything. Something is wrong here.
