Do any (of these or other) companies handle vehicle transfers from one person to another ?

In my case it's not even a sale, just transfer from one generation to another within same family.

Is the PO best to handle this ?

Definitely not an ANC run municipality!
At ours, the lines are out the door. 2 out of 3 tellers are always on lunch. Offline after 11:30am or closed because Covid only spreads after 11:30am.

Yep...I have been doing mine online for 4 years now. No hassles and never any issues.

No idea WHAT u r RANTING on about. You do know if people can renew online with their phone from home, they don't have to go stand in a line at the municipality???? Difference is convenience, time saved, transport costs saved, and often parking costs saved.

Transfer of ownership is still an issue. Not many online services handle that on your behalf.

I remember I went once (when I still received renewals) and took everything I had, not realising one was a month later. I paid a slightly smaller renewal fee and that moved the renewal a month early. Not sure if it would work for several months though. I do know when I got the papers for one car from the bank the renewal also changed to the month I changed the title holder.
