So my contract expired in January :p , and keep getting smss to renew, now i got a n95 8gb phone so don't need a new phone, so is there a contract that i can get without a phone and hence no extra charge for the "free" phone? I am with italk (MTN) at the moment and would like to stay MTN or Vodacom, anyone have a suggestion?

Okay so you bought/got a phone and only want a contarct or something, right?

My 1 old phone w900i i got last year on a use your own phone special deal @ mtnsp, was @ italk
-service wasn't so great and struggled to blacklist a stolen phone, forms and more forms and calls-

Special Deal:
R35 / month
R75+30 Airtime

+ CLI and Itemised Billing

Saw it again in feb/may, but price and airtime changed.
Also have to upgrade the 11/11/2008 contract ends.

The "No Phone" contracts are a rip off, ESPECIALLY on the higher contracts. Rather try wangle yourself a better deal

You don't get contract rates that differentiate between phone yes/no.

Renew the contract, get the most expensive phone you can, flog it on gumtree/bidorbuy/junkmail.

The contract rates stay the same normal contract rates, when you take 1 with a phone then you pay extra on top of the normal contract, except for the specials.
Got a K850i this year on ProCall 120 R285+Cli-R8 =+-R315/month
