I keep getting damn spam from a place called The Essence Lounge . Its damn annoying, and they ignore my request to be removed from their spam list.

Where/who/how can I report them to get them to bugger off, and listed as spammers.

I google'd it and it looks like they based in Cape Town, give them a call and tell them to stop 021 - 555 4199

If you have gmail just use the Report Spam Option and it should go directly into your spambox next time.

Unfortunately I don't think Report Spam works that straightforwardly - it helps them improve their spam filters over time, but doesn't create an individual spam filter for you.

I've emailed them enough -don't really want to waste time phoning them. I'd like to have them blocked on various servers so other people don't go through this.

I've reported each mail I receive from them in GMAIL... and it still comes through...go figure.

Hmmm, the Essence Lounge is a well know swingers' club... how did you get on their mailing list?

*grin*

ROFL...you're kidding?

Didn't know that - wait - how do you know :D

xradidx - can you see from the message headers and whois info who their ISP is? If they are local and not unsubscribing you then they have committed a criminal offense under the ECT Act.

Try and find their ISP - report to their ISP's abuse desk. If the ISP is an ISPA member then they have to adhear to the ISPA Code of Conduct which has sections dealing with spam.

I personally would not roll over and accept this kind of thing from a South African spammer. There are far too many of them getting away with this.

I actually emailed all the email addresses on the whois...

They emailed me back asking me which servers I registered them on... <-- yeah right.
