So,
TL;DR:
We need a plumber with expertise on older(~1960-70) multi floor block of flats, to come and inspect the condition of our pipes and noisy plumbing during peak water usage periods in the morning and evenings..
Full Story:
We are in need of a plumber who has knowledge of plumbing for older multi floor block of flats(8 floors), to inspect the building plumbing..
This is partly a sanity check to make sure everything is still fine and we are not unaware of a potential hundreds of thousands rand problem about to happen and because the plumbing has become noisy..
This is what I know about the plumbing(not a plumber so I stand corrected on my understanding of these things).. There are 2 tanks on the roof, likely storing water to provide pressure to all the units..? The noise is present when usage of water increases, so in the morning when people get up and get ready for work and in the evening when bathing and doing dishes etc.. Presumably the noise is coming from a pump that is refilling the tanks on the roof..?
