Research in event hosting

I'm wondering if there are someone that can help me. I want to find out lets say i have a event bussiness and i want to host themed events at a place eg a big events place, do i need a license from that brand? Lets start with a pokemon event spesifically. or lets say a movie that is highly anticipated.

Lets say i want to hold a public event for the new trolls movie how would i go about getting a license for this? does anyone know the procedure?
If i want to hold a pokemon event how do i get a license for it?
Anyone that has maybe gone through this already that can give me pointers. plz?
