An Australian researcher has been working on an algorithm that will reduce electromagnetic interference in ADSL lines and potentially make broadband connections 100 times faster.

I bet you this oke is going to be hired by telkom or vodacom to find new ways to make our networks slower.

Probably an old SAn who migrated to Aus after being fired / laid off by Telkom - that would be the icing on the cake :)
 
this is encouraging, but why does everything have to take so long to be implemented? everything always takes 3 years to happen.
 
Yep and when I was at school back in the 70's we believed that by the year 2000 we would be flying around with jet powered backpacks and have moon bases.

in other words ...IBIWISI .....hehehe
