Any ISP should be able to host co.za names if they can't I wouldn't trust my business with them as domain names shouldn't matter

And what is considered a good reseller depends what you are you looking for

price/space/bandwidth/service/location

just remember cheap is probably one day gonna bite you(they might go out of business/service is horrible etc), but expensive is no guarantee either.

A safe bet is of course is the well known names like hostgator.com etc.

I use Dreamhost.com

80GB+ Data on my account and no problems.

I wouldn`t use a SA Hosting Co - they limit everything and are very expensive compared to US hosting.

...and a Co. that can`t host .co.za domains??? Sounds like a Screamer (pun intentional)

No wonder everything has gone to the dogs.

yeah not lookign at SA hosting

and i am looking for a reliable hosting company
with good support

i would go for webafrica but they are to expensive for what they offer

but yeah looking for reasonable disk space good bandwidth all standard features
ect

sweet looks like it's now a toss up between hostgator and dreamhost

Hostgator is ok... ;)

http://www.000webhost.com/ is *free* and their service is also ok, 24hosting is a bit restrictive but also ok.

I recommend justhost.com (They have a crap load of advertising for "extra's" but their service is awesome and very little limits on their cheap hosting package with a free domain that costs like R150 if you need to buy it!

And https://omegahosts.com/ their crystal package works like a charm, my one website uses 157GB of storage and I have not has any troubles with them at all.

Local hosting is just sooo expensive it's not funny :(

I use Hostgator.com, excellent service, and great support.

I've had the opposite experience with hostgator - nothing but trouble. billing issues from day 1, and domains randomly disappearing out of cpanel.

dreamhost i can recommend.

I never knew DreamHost offers reseller plans?

Erm sorry. I never actually read the thread title...

DreamHost dont have a reseller plan / reseller panel. Although they do offer $97 commission per referral

i'm looking at the dreamhost package they got and it seems to me it could be used as a reseller account but not sure if it should be

hostgator looks like a good place to go to
and this gridhost is a maybe just wish they offered more space and bandwidth

this is quite a difficult desision lol

hostgator.com

you will not make any mistake with these guys, I use them for past 5 years, and have no problem. Support is live, 24/7, and all of the support guys are very good qualified to resolve queries.

If you go and look into the history og hostgator.com, (google is your friend) you will find that they are actually the provider for most hosting companies out there. So chances are that some of the companies you are concidering are also actually getting their stuff from hostator.
