"Reserve" tank

yes like I didn't have proof there was a tank behind the backseat, but then look what happened...

wheres Fazda, so convinced of himself, I see he is quiet now, shame, it hurts to be wrong

You didn't have proof, someone else did, and even then (like from the start) we've all said it was specific to certain models, not standard across the entire E30 range.

Oh and Fazda is retired now, so he's more than likely doing more productive things with his life, like playing golf.

Wow, aren't you a jewel...

You have been right for once. WELL DONE!!!
/pat on the back

Now can you get on with your life? Maybe bring that 5 series BMW of yours that will cream my S1000rr? Thought so...

My reserve tank is a 5L Helios bottle filled with petrol in my trunk.

when i run out of petrol (normally because it's owner hasn't filled it with enough petrol), i just jack the next car that comes along.

Judging by his sig, he's a geek, so probably not up to the physical dexterity required to hijack a car. Like the ability to point a firearm without shooting himself in the foot :D

Oh dear - he didn't even see my comment under the photo!

And yes, I'm not that visible now that retirement is allowing me to do a few constructive things! :D

Just fixed the front gate and spent the day in the garden - quite a change!! :D

I miss my 1963 Morris Mini.. Had a 19l tank that use to last me about 1.5 months and I could install a second reserve tank if needed.. Imagine 3 months without filling up :)

That option was available across the counter as the Cooper S had twin tanks, so you could easily have done the conversion. :)

The problem with Minis was never running out of fuel. Its running out of oil you should be worried about.

There is something delightful about not filling up for a month. I just skipped August, did not feel bad when paying for a 40l tankful on Friday.
