well then, take it in and tell them the product is defective.
Doubt that will work as they will ask for the password to unlock.
Not sure why they made it so complicated.
If it's not giving you an option that should be there, there's definitely something wrong. Users forgetting passwords happens...shouldn't be an unrecoverable situation. Else service centres would be overrun with people wanting help.
