Resetting BIOS - K8N PRO SLI ?

ok i've done something to the poor old hag and now there is no display or beeps on boot but all lights and fans comes on - last thing i was playing round with was easy tune 5.

what is the correct way of resetting the bios ?

should i take out the battery, set clear jumper or both of them and for how long ?

If you leave the battery out for about 24 hours you can be sure that the CMOS settings will be cleared

take out the battery reboot pc, turn off put battery back in and boot up

bam your back in

dont use software to oc your cpu

use the jumper. switch it over to the other side for a few seconds, then put it back in it's original place. make sure ur pc's power is off when u do this.

Also remember to unplug the electricity cable from the PSU while the battery is out.

24 hours ? yus u mus be mad ..

Power off the pc... unplug PSU cable...Pull out battery...If no jumper short the the + - terminals with a screwdriver.. put back the batt and power up.

thnx for theresponses, but with no pc i couldn't read them while at home hehe...

atleast the beast lives !!!

plugged out power, removed battery, waited 10mins, reseated battery, set jumper, boot up, remove jumper, boot and set settings.

*phew* thought m/b was a gonner after playing with easytune and oc-ing.
