It's more than a bridge that it is burned. It's a reference and a gap in your cv which you have to explain every time you look for a job.

Just not worth it.

No matter what the suckage at your current job, just do the honorable thing, and resign well within the existing framework, and have a good reference on your CV rather than getting passed over just because of that gap...
