Dietary restrictions: food is halaal (place isn’t, does serve alcohol); many vegetarian options
Service: Adequate
Price: Good – under R200 each
Worth repeating: Yes

As was previously mentioned, my deep fried turds were quiet nice I think you were just the recipient of an inconsistent chef...

Went to Yindees on Saturday night with 3 friends, and I can’t entirely remember what the fourth had...

I had the Nr 54 (sweet & sour stir fry) with chicken.

I disagree with you regarding the starter though. I enjoyed the fish cakes even though I'm not usually a fan of fish cake while I didn't care much for those fried sweet potato things despite being a fan of sweet potatoes.

Those fishcakes were barely edible and rubbery. I swear it bounced off my fork. Didn't taste like any fishcake I've ever had before.
The sweet potato things were odd at first, then you got into it. I think it was the lack of the complementary sauce that kept it from achieving greatness.
