Restoring an iPod Touch on 3.1.2

Hey all I want to restore my ipod so I can jailbreak it again with the new program spirit and not use blackra1n, but you see I have capped internet and I need to know how much restoring eats out of my internet. I already have .ipsw saved in my computer can anyone help me thank you

Normally i tunes tries to downoad the latest version of teh ispw - which if you go ahead is 400mb at worst.
If you have the ispw then data use should be very low - really just the verification that itunes does
