Retribution questions.

Sounds like Kaine got whacked on the noggin once too often by a Retadin in Wrath :-)

Anyway, I've never played my pally to be DPS so it doesn't really bother me, it's just a pity Blizz can't get the spec more or less stable. This yoyo of pwning to sucking is a tad ridiculous. The only good thing is that all the chops that rolled Pallys just for the wrath pwnage will go back to their rogues and huntards and the pally class will be again be back in the hands of the die hards ;-)

nah, as a melee in this country and with the line I have I rarely if ever bother pvping. but in raids and pugs n whatnot, the amount of idiots that play retadins is shocking. RL mate of mine is a ret pally playing on a 384k line and he puts out top5 dps/damage in any raid because he has a quarter brain. cant say that for most of you :p
pvp-wise I think the only reason pallys did so well is because they are plate-wearers, ie you couldnt 1 or 2 shot them, and with all the clothies about... why bother

Firstly there is a huge difference between playing the class and dissing the class, saying its a faceroll class means you have not raided as a ret. faceroll rets get 8k dps in Wotlk, a ret that knows his class get between 11-14k and is a huge dif in wotlk, problem with cataclysm is that some classes like enhancement shammies pwn from lvl 81 onwards and then picks up dps at a slow pace. Ret's are very gear dependand in cata, 346 gear vs epic gear his such a huge jump u would think they have completely changed the class and could potentially double your dps.

I before i did my research was so angry and horrid about my ret pala shown in my signature that i did not wanna play him anymore in cata and using my mage as a main, but decided to do some hc tanking here and there so i can hopefully get a 346 ret set together and when our raids are on grinding get some epics before i start playing him as ret again.

Kaine Please dont dis any classes, i have 7 80+ char and only need to level my warlock hunter and priest then i would have raided with each class in game and pvp'd with each class in game. First level the class from 1-80/85 then give constructive feedback otherwise dont qq about the class.
 
Lol, Kaine u really have a dislike for pallys, let me guess, u play a rogue? Btw armor only helps against physical damage, but anyway :-S
I just hope for ur sake we dont get buffed again, it really will make u more miserable than u already sound.

96969 was useful for some scenarios I guess, when u needed to get ur threat to its absolute maximum, but I never used it, it kinda screws ones flexibility. Tanking has become a lot more involved for us now, we may not have many more spells but a hellava lot more options and choices. Im loving it.

o chill peeps, its called having a bit of fun. sounds like there are some serious issues with pallys. are they the new dk? :p
