Return unwanted upgrade - possible?

My wife upgraded her Vodacom contract today, but 3 hours later, she hated the phone she chose...

So, does anyone know if a person can take back the phone and the packaging, and make use of the 7 day swapout policy, even if it's for a case where you dont like the phone (as opposed to it being broken).

Far as I know seven day swop is if there is a fault with the phone don't know about exchange for other reasons.

There was a thread in the Vodacom forum a while ago about someone cancelling the contract within a few days for the same reason, might be worth asking.

My wife upgraded to the N79 last week - coming from a N82 which is perfect in every way she loved the N79 even more than the N82 - so I guess it is more perfect in every way.

Autopage has a 14 day contract cancellation period - if I don't like my new HTC Dream, then I can just return it & pay R125 for using it for 2 weeks!

Wonder how many times I'll be able to do it?
