Then why does a R5,000,000 car need a motor plan?An R18k phone shouldn't need a screen protector.

You just don't put a R10 screen protector on a R18000 phone.
If it is a Samsung phone, a Samsung store, and a Samsung employee, I don't see why not.You dont just hand a R18000 phone to a stranger![]()

there is a very small gap between the actual screen and screen protector at the top of the screen.
That's not the employees problem. That's a manufacturer problem.You don't?
Delivery fees, customs charges, delivery time, blah blah.
I have a mate with a weekly airfreight container from the states, I buy occasionally but my circumstances are very different to others that have to use couriers, freight forwarding, and of the post office. You obviously don't buy from outside SA much. You can usually get the same product, or a very good and cheaper alternative, shipped to SA cheaper than buying it here, even with higher delivery charges. Smaller purchases seldom attract vat or duty or any attention from SARS. Sometimes the delivery times are on par with SA deliveries.
And one of my biggest bugs - SA web site that don't list prices. They have a "Click for Quote" or "Contact for Price". Their reasoning is the "fluctuating exchange rates". I battle to find international web sites that don't list prices (excluding those that supply bespoke items).
