There was a time when only the husband worked and the wife took care of the home. Nowadays both parents work. The last thing you want to do is wash dirty nappies. Which as you know is a constant. Yes in the 80s I wash my younger sibling nappies.

There is alot of other things time can be spent. For me buying nappies was an easy tradeoff.
