Nvidia launching revamped RTX 2060 graphics card - Report

More than two and a half years after its launch, a revamped version of the Nvidia RTX 2060 graphics card could soon be released, according to a report from VideoCardz.com.

The publication's sources claim Nvidia will announce a revised version of the card as a new mid-range performer while it struggles to meet demand for its Ampere-based RTX 30 cards.

I mean, if they have capacity on the older process nodes that they can use, why not?

I do wonder how much they would cost though. I would hope that they would be cheaper than the old 2060s were when released, but this is probably too much to hope for. Amazing to think that a 3 year old GPU will probably sell for more now than when it was released.

Double the memory sounds good. But it's all about the price and availability I reckon. Likely to be a miss.

Gamers have been struggling to buy the card anywhere near its manufacturer suggested retail price of $329 (R4,681).

At R4681 I will order one right now. At R11k I am afraid I will do without thanks
