RF transmitter and reciever

Hey

dont suppose any1 knows where i can get an RF transmit and receiver (with API preferably) for USB or something, i wanna use my pc as a glorified universal remote

You could also try Avnet - they had a Nordic Semi nRF905 module selling for ~R140 (see first link)

Have you tried Electronics123 and Communica? Communica in midrand is the best place to go in my opinion, they've got pretty much everything over there....
