So the Council members voted the way they want and they still storm the meeting? Hopefully Council won't be so glib next time...

It troubles me that the SRC is taking the authority over the UCT Council… Not only are they representing the students, but also the university in their own capacity. Ridiculous, it’s a bloody mutiny.
 
It can't be moved to Heritage Western Cape since they require a permit to move it. And permits may be appealed.
 
has there been any comment from the "revolutionaries" on the scholarships / bursaries bearing the name rhodes.
do they want these removed / ended or are they suffering selective repression when exposed to rhodes ?

It will be the same as with Apaat-Hate, forgetting that South Africa created more black millionaires than all of Sub-Saharan combined, that the annual increase rate of living standards for blacks increased at a higher rate than that of whites (at least in the 60's), that more than 50% of the annual budget was at times committed to black interests and homeland development, that the net population growth of blacks increased more than exponentially during Apaat-Hate, that the average life expectancy for blacks grew by decades etc. etc.

Can anyone find an official news article regarding the 'One Settler, One Bullet' song being declared hate speech? I know it has but Google is being funny...
 
I hope these "natives" realise that they are in fact also foreing to RSA having driven out some of the actual natives landing form the north.
