Right Charger for Macbook Pro 15"

Hi

I have just got my new Macbook Pro 15" from Incredible Connection, in it's sealed box.

What worries me is the following. I want to buy a spare charger, and have been reading about the various chargers available. The Macbook came with a 60w charger, but I have now read on some blogs that the 15" must have only an 85W charger, and the 60W is only for the 13".

Does this sound right? Why then would the sealed box have the 60W in?

Get whatever came with it.

BTW I regularly charge my 17" MBP with the charger from my missus' MB.

What MB does your wife have?

The charger gets rather hot (not excessive, but fairly warm).

The new MBPs may be more energy efficient, but since the chargers are the same size, I'd err on the side of caution and get the 85W. If nothing else, it'll charge it up quicker.

My (last model before unibody) 15" came with a 85W, so that's what I got when I bought an extra one.
