Someone explain please...

I thought every one was happy with the DA government, are these people really unhappy?

Is this an ANC organised riot against DA? If so, surely it is illegal for political parties to do things like this?

Seems there is a natural criminal instinct that just kicks in that compels them to start looting, plundering & thieving - almost like an uncontrollable involuntary muscle reaction !

It's all about politics. Elections are coming up and the only way the ANC can try to get more votes in the Cape is by making the DA look useless. The worst type of politics (facepalm).

Surely a violent 'fake protest' like this must be illegal?
There is no one to take them to task.

They are very happy, just go and see where they are living and how they are living. It's the ANC instigating this.

Why would the 'protesters' go along with it if they were happy?

Are they paid to protest? Are they secret ANC agents?

Happier than the places they fled in the first place or they would have packed up and gone back :erm:

Yes Pooky, they are very happy - living in shacks, on the street without access to basic services like toilets or water.
What's not to be happy about? The DA is in charge, of course they are happy. Everything else is irrelevant.

Exactly. Even if it was organised by the ANC, they wouldn't be able to organise such a protest if the people actually were happy with the DA, had access to services, and no issues to complain about.
Blaming the ANC is a way of diverting attention away from the real problems people are facing.

By 'them' who are you referring to exactly?
