Anyone got any experience using riouxsvn.com for private repositories?
Looks like the best, price wise, for private repositories.

Github is only $7 a month for 5 private and unlimited free repos.

There's also Bitbucket.org for unlimited private repos. It only allows for 5 users before an upgrade to the plan is needed. I haven't had any issues and they keep you up to date with scheduled maintenance.

Bitbucket looks cool..

~R80pm vs free.

Well, in the end you get what you pay for in terms of uptime, speed, and infrastructure. I can't fathom that even a startup can't afford R80 per month for their first batch of projects.

I don't think its about afford, its about finding the best solution at the best price.
Agreed R80 for something amazing is worth it. But, hen there are comparable products, and one is less than the other; the choice is simple.

....which is weird. if they're so great, why do you find it hard to find reviews/recommendations for them? go with github and save yourself the headache later down the road

Hence my question! Thats what made me unconfortable.

I use bitbucket for private repos and github for public. Haven't had a problem with bitbucket.

Then why do you argue when someone suggests to rather pay for a proven, stable service with the exact same features?

Because you can find proven, stable service with the exact same features for free. Or to put it the way my OP was intended; Is RiouxSVN proved and stable.
