What's happening in America is very sad to see. The Dems were terrible pushing their woke agenda down everyone's throat. Trump has taken over and is acting as illegal as he can get away with it. His supporters have gotten bold and driving the wedge deeper than ever. They are playing that us vs them song more than you think the left ever did.

You want to know why it became an issue? Because people on the left decided that biology no longer is important, and that if a man decides to call themselves a woman, the entire of society must respect it.

The reason we have Trump in the first place is because the Democrats pushed so many rational people off the edge that they switched and voted for him. And I said this earlier in the thread, the more extreme one side gets, the more extreme it pushes the other side.

Now a guy is dead for speaking, and people are celebrating it and calling for the death of more people. Yes I see what they mean - perfectly reasonable behaviour, not looney at all. I must rather find better vocabulary apparently, instead of them calling out kak...

I am "on the left" and I didn't decide that.

I just find it absurd that with wars happening all over the world, people being killed left right and centre, endless college shootings in the US and people starving, that the right decide that the REAL problem in the world are a few loons in dresses.

No, of course not. I just find it weird that millions of women can be sexually assaulted on a daily basis, but conservatives are more concerned about some weirdo who wants to compete in the girls' netball team.

That doesn't mean I think he should be able to compete on girls' netball team, just that the priorities are off.

The only reason conservatives are so vocal about it is because liberals are so relentless in pushing it. If liberals stepped back, conservatives wouldn't need to oppose.

Attacks on Pelosi, Hortman and Shapiro were not "fun activities". They were attacks with the intent and aim to kill, by right extremists, on democrats. You like to try and make political violence and extremism an exclusively democrat phenomenon, but the evidence simply does not support you.

Evidence. Not feels.
