It's valid criticism of the extreme left, as much as there was valid criticism of the extreme right after the Hoffman murders. both sides are pretty despicable. But let's keep in mind, these are the extremes, it's not the broad centrists. The question is whether the centre can hold, and regain the sanity.

Personally, I think the centre is purposefully being eroded. You don't post memes referencing Apocalypse Now as the president of the country in an attempt to remain a coherent and peaceful society.
