Nobody calls for Purity. I think what people call for is for foreigners to undergo a legal vetting process and commitment from their end.

Kirk called for behaviour change and not racial, ethnic, religious, gender, etc change.

Point is that in a free society one can accept that one can hold such views and people can share them and compare/contrast them with other views in the open market of ideas. We're not restricted by thought crimes about what is allowed and what's not allowed as long as one does not call for actual violence to someone else. Kirk instead got a bullet for believing he lived in a free and civilised society where people could talk and debunk views or opinions. At the end Kirk had no legal power to pass laws at the end of the debate. These were mere debates. Still he got a bullet for that.

Which God is not stated. Thus, it can be any God that the adherent believes in but keeps personal and never discusses. One of the most ancient orders in the world has this ethos and is known as peaceful. There are around 7 million of them worldwide and no matter which religion any adherent practices, they meet in peace and harmony anywhere in the world.
