Knowler has been reliably informed that HP sauce may be available in select Pick n Pay stores from early April.

“The company that owns HP is in the process of changing their local distributor in South Africa. As soon as this is confirmed customers will see more availability of the product in stores", the local retailer revealed.

Woolworths has also offered a small glimmer of hope for HP fans that another food company may sign a deal to sell it in SA.

“We continue to monitor for an update on where the license will be awarded and we will restock products as soon as possible”, they told Knowler.

Was OK. Last time I had some I think it came in other flavour(s) apart from the original. Might be thinking of Worcestershire sauce. Don't know.

I personally don't like it but my best shop in is selling it

Only time I ever had it was when I used to ask the waitor at Spur for Tabasco Sauce and they used to bring the one of those carrier thingies with Tabasco, All Gold, HP Sauce and some other sauce which I can't remember.

I don't even remember what it tastes like

It does, you get Classic BBQ flavoured and a Honey BBQ flavoured HP sauce, and some fruity one I don't like.

I don't care about HP so much but when is my Heinz Ketchup coming back?
 
For anyone in PTA, Kilnerpark Spars still has a whole shelf filled with HP. I bought 5 bottles yesterday
 
Looks like Heinz Ketchup (Tomato Sauce) is not coming back, the license was not renewed :(

We're stuck with that horrible tasting goo called All Gold :sick:
 
I ordered some car parts and had them consolidated at a friend of mine in the UK, got him to chuck some bottles of HP sauce in the box.
Probably the most expensive bottles of HP sauce ever after the courier and customs charges, but bacon sarmies and eggs with some HP again... priceless.
