Road rage incident - any recourse?

Just saying, sometimes one loses it because someone is trying to kill you by their sheer negligence and then they don't apologise. If I make a mistake I indicate apologies, never had a issue. If they apologise, then no issue. Its those retards that flat out ignore you that gets my blood boiling or think they did nothing wrong...

I agree with this, but as stated it took place in a parking lot at stationary and/or crawling speeds.

Yeah, that's why I'm not sure if it's worth laying a charge. Not much they can really do. He called her a bitch repeatedly, so that's maybe crimen injuria, but will probably just be a he said/she said case from the cops' point of view.

The damage was about to happen as the dude was about to stomp on her bonnet, but luckily the guy behind her started shouting at him and he backed off.
 
What car did the assailant drive?

(Based on what I see on the roads, I suspect he drove either a BMW or a 4x4.)
 
You should lay a case because next time, if it is a male in the car, this guy will prob do something that he will regret, so its better to make him aware of his actions now.

Yeah, I suppose it couldn't hurt to lay the charge. Whether the cops will actually do anything about it.... :/

My thinking is that if someone is this unstable and short tempered he could be beating his wife or kids or something.

I'm just wondering if the cops will actually do anything. The shopping centre said they don't have footage of the actual incident, but were able to get his plate from footage at the exits and with the help of a security guard who spotted it.

Report it to the police for two reasons.

1) It creates a record, if he does something like this again it will be easier to convict him of something.
2) Perhaps ythis will serve as a warning to him and he might learn a lesson and change.
 
Nothing will come of it unless there are witnesses who will make a statement.

there's lots of mental illness in SA.
Most don't get help.
A lot of it is caused by the ANC government too.

I can actually picture this.

There are some instances with the story above favours the douche.
At the entrance of a shopping complex, gym, lifestyle centers, parking spaces closest to the entrance cause a huge back up of traffic endangering peoples lives. If this parking spot is what picturing she should have moved forward or clear the way for traffic to pass.

It happens often at rosebanks outside parking, people go for the spot closest to the entrance/exit causes a huge backlog of traffic.
