So I was recently involved in a road rage incident.

I normally drive over the speed limit but not far enough over to receive a ticket.Coming on to some traffic in which I am overtaking the guy behind me decides he does not like me very much for driving to slow in his opinion (90 - 100 in 80 zone)

he swerves into slow lane as I return to the slow lane and and we had a mishap with him ending into the bushes.

All well. later on he makes multiple attempts in pushing me off the road, Being and old school driver I naturally make it impossible for him to succeed even though he had a vastly faster and more agile motor vehicle.

I eventually lost my aggressive fellow road user due to the fact that he was a novice driver and did not know what he was doing behind the steering wheel.

With me concentrating on the road and not getting pushed off the road at speed that might have reached above extreme classification, I did not mange to record his registration number.

To my Noobish fellow road user. We are all on the road for the same reason. We all have to get somewhere...
Learn how to drive. Then learn RESPECT. And we can all enjoy the road without you killing yourself or anybody else.

Pity you didn't get the reg.
Where was the incident, make and model of the other car?

Similar thing happened to me last year... Gold Fortuner. Also could not get the registration, otherwise I would definitely have laid charges.

I was doing in the region of 200KM/h to get away from this nut. Lets rather not divulge any more details. I would not want to incriminate myself for reckless driving (IF that is even possible with hearsay) Even though my life was in danger. I think I would have a fair chance in court.

Lately I'm finding Fortuner/4x4 drivers to absolute ****ers.

With the power cuts and traffic lights out of order, people have no clue whats going on.

Those things are a lot faster than what the drivers realize. And sitting behind a snail the whole day does give you a slight temper tantrum.

Traffic is frustrating and stress from living is just getting too much, unfortunately we blow off steam on the road.

So, impatient driver behind you are you were legitimately overtaking slower traffic, and driver then decides to overtake on the left as you move over to let him through?

I'm guessing it was Rusty0 based on the Cape Town accident thread. :p

Depends if it was a freeway or not.

No.2 lane road with a lot of cars and taxis joining. Definitely not a place you want to be speeding.

So, what was he driving, and did he go off the road, or was he just unable to keep up with you?

He was driving a Delta Motor Corporation of South Africa Opel Monza 160i GSi Car of the Year 1991, though at the last moment he swerved in front of someone else and then proceeded to reverse into them without insurance. Also he has 5 cars fully paid off. (Hi saturnz)

He'd never, ever have been left behind in that, unless he ran out of fuel, in which case he'd be sitting there deeply regretting not having taken the BMW E30 with the extra fuel tank in the boot.

Toyota sprinter,Yes,No those things move, I would never be able to keep up to the Sprinters top speed of 240KM/h.but in corners and on wet slippery road I am a much better driver.

What do you drive? I have no idea how fast a Toyota sprinter is. But it's a Toyota, how fast can it really be (acceleration wise)?
