What do you drive? I have no idea how fast a Toyota sprinter is. But it's a Toyota, how fast can it really be (acceleration wise)?
F-ing fast. Those were race spec enjines that produced 96KW back from 1988. Were also used as the Atlantic race engines before.
Series 5 4age gave new BMW M3 quite a go. which was not bad considering its only a 1600 cc

I suspect this one had heads done along with cam and followers. But yes a Twincam can rev 15 000 rpm and stay together. have seen a few 1600, 2000 and 3000's rev 10 000 RPM stock and not disintegrate. note this is only peak revs and not continues.
