UPDATE:
So i did the road trip last week Friday. I really enjoyed the 1100km drive over 3 days.
I left Joburg at around 1pm, arrived at Sabie Star Chalets around 5:30pm then had a braai and slept for the night.
Woke up the following day:
1st stop was Mac Mac Falls
2nd stop was at Graskop Lift Co, i didn't jump but did the gorge walk, was tempted but i feared passing out midair
3rd stop was at God's Window (very tiring carrying my son on my shoulders up a mountain) then
Burke's Lock Potholes then
Waterbessiebos Cottage where we slept for the night.
The following day we drove back via Bela Bela.
The drive around Magoebaskloof was the best...i really liked the twisty roads on the mountain passes. Would want to do it again without the family.
The whole journey was about R5000 all included for 2 adults and a child.
