Roaming and data use???

:confused:Hi I am on Cell C Prepaid because where I live I can only get Cell C Roaming via Vodacom.
I have just bought a years worth of Prepaid data only to find my phone is using up all my airtime and very little data, I read somewhere that this relates to the Roaming use, which is odd since it has used some of my Data. Is there anyway of changing this bearing in mind I have to use Roaming??
