"Robbers" shoot pensioners

Why do you always bring politics into crime that involves black people? If a white guy did the same thing you wouldnt blame the 'current regime'

14 years doesnt make up for 81 years of segregation

1. Why did you assume the "robbers" were black? (The area is not absolute proof)
2. Was there just as much crime in the previous regime as there is now?
3. Were there just as many illegal immigrants during then as well?
4. Are the current rulers doing anything significant to resolve crime that you can point out to me?
5. What does segregation have to do with cold blooded murder?
6. Do you think crime is decreasing and from what point did it get so bad that we have to now desperately improve on it?

Not trying to start a debate. If I have the wrong mindset here just tell me with good reasons as to why. These are just the questions that immediately popped into my mind after reading your post. EDIT: I am also too young to know all the facts.

Im not defending the government,im saying its all too easy to blame them for all the crimes when history does have a part to play in it

Well, two points:
1) Often they are the criminals.
2) No one is blaming them for the crimes, as such - we are blaming them for not doing anything to stop them.

Fair enough but I simply said to unopanelvan that he always blames the government for crimes that black people commit.

No you did not, you elaborasted your own beliefs and mindset. Facts is fact, no way out unfortunately.
It is obvious the world over, that is of course in the intelligent, first world democratic (or not so democratic) countries, that the government of the day is responsible for everything happening under their wake, unless you live in Africa then that responsibility defaults as far back as colonialism.

I blame the government for all the crimes. You are the on with the skewed concept as it is really not my fault that 99.9% of the crimes committed is by a specific group of individuals. In that group a large percentages is made up of illegals entering the country with full support of Mbeki and company, in direct admittance. Do you deny that too?

Lol the area could mean that it was a bunch of white guys shooting black pensioners? :) but I get your point. :p

Still though I think we do have justification for blaming the government. Who cares what history did, IMO the government is still doing nothing and that says it all. No excuses when you run a country. They have no desire to improve things it seems.

Just because the guy who worked in my position before me made a profound mess of things and failed to properly maintain database info and do things properly which still affects me to this day, it is still my responsibility to perform and I can't use that as an excuse if I want to keep my job. I simply have to do what is required.

You can't be serious? Crime is at current levels because of the government. Every possible reason this violent crime exists is because the government allows it to go on rampantly. As for the black people comment: what a load of rubbish.

The apartheid government were sick *$^&*;s and responsible for many terrible things. The current goverment is too. They should be held accountable for their shortcomings just as (rightly) the previous one was ...... race is nowhere in it.

To be fair, theratman answered the post you are all pointing to way in #25
