Rockband PS3 - region 3?

Does anyone know if the PS3 USA version of Rockband is region free?

AFAIK the xbox 360 is locked, so can't play it here, which is a pity cause I have the Xbox 360 - but I have been told that all PS3 games are region free - I don't have or want a PS3, it is going to be a gift for someone who made the mistake of buying a PS3.

I need some revenge - they purchased high school musical as a gift for my son and I want their son to go boof boof boof the whole day on the rockband drums

Anyhow I cant find any local supplier with the full kit and I can get from the big ol USA, so will it work here?

All PS3 games are region free. It's only the movies on a PS3 is region locked. As far as I know.

The question around Rockband is that it's all licensed content, so there might be issues, but in theory yes.

um... singstar is 10000 times worse... because, he might actually be good at music, but singstar is the most unforgivable game in the world...

IT WORKS. Friend of mine got his from there last weekend, we didn't sleep alot... It is an amazing game, quality is much better than Guitar Hero.
