Inadvertent cutting of cables feeding mobile conveyors at #Eskom #Majaba caused the incident at Majuba, & loadshedding today.

IT IS NOT A ****ING INCONVENIENCE, YOU CLOWN!!!! IT IS A NATIONAL CRISIS! SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS SO THAT YOUR WALNUT SIZED BRAIN CAN ABSORB IT PROPERLY.

Inadvertent cutting?????!!!!!!!???? YOU JUST CONFIRMED MY THEORY THAT A CERTAIN GROUP HAS BEEN SABOTAGING OUR ELECTRICITY SYSTEM FOR FINANCIAL REASONS!

Inadvertent cutting? I hope it doesn't mean in Bantu what it means in English. For now I'm putting the best possible interpretation on that ... the power to the mobile conveyers was unexpectedly cut, not the cables themselves...

Yet another 10am-2pm session here in JHB north. If we're on stage 3 (WTF knows???) then it's off again at 10pm until 2am.

Back on after 2hrs so currently stage 1 scheduling is in effect in PE (could change at any time):
Nope - mine's been off for 3.5 hours now.

This group/area/stage story is definitely FUBAR. My power is still on and better stay that way as I'm expecting delivery of a shot server (doubtless courtesy of Eskom) from Grahamstown which I'd like to turn around this evening.

I didn't realise you were planning on emigrating.

I'm not sure how that would help - unless you're accustomed to walking around backwards, spewing intermittent fire out of your rear like an asthmatic dragon.
It illuminates the toilet seat when he sits down. Very useful.

The power was off again last night at home (Jo'burg south), but this time it was weird as the street directly behind us had power while my street did not have any power. Went off at 19:00 and was still off by the time I went to bed at 21:00. I assume another 3 - 4 hour blackout.

Westdene as well, not on ANY schedule... The **** is the point of a schedule if you don't ****ing stick to it

I don't bother with the schedules any more. I just wait for the ''surprise''.

I think I at least have a good idea of when it goes out at home now. On Friday night it went off at 18:30, on Sunday night and last night it went off at 19:00, so it seems as if getting things done (washing, cooking, dishes, making lunch) at home before 19:00 is a good idea.
