Haha not at all, I'm just curious because I might be getting a diesel soon and the DPF/diesel particulate filter isn't very good for fuel economy. Removing it creates the black soot and decreases the fuel consumption.

This is like the idiots who remove their catalytic converters.

Well in my case it was either pay R5400 for a new one or just cut it off, what would you do?

this is one that slightly forgivable depending
- if nothing wrong with the Cat and you remove it cause that one oke told you it will increase performance you are an idiot.
- if its messed up and you can't afford to replace it then i see no issue with removing it
