Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV

Here’s a modified, $500k Rolls-Royce Cullinan with 3D-printed panels

V12-engined SUV gets a special new suit and a hefty new price tag

Yes, we’re thinking the same thing: interesting expanse of wheel-arch clearance on 1016 Industries’s brand new ‘3D-printed’ Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

Of course, it’s not a 3D-printed Rolls-Royce Cullinan – one suspects Rolls-Royce might have something to say about that – but a RR that features quite a lot of 3D-printed panels.

Carbon fibre panels, too. The Miami-based tuner has long specialised in performing CF modifications on a range of supercar exotica. It’s now turned its considerable expertise to Rolls’s ‘high-sided vehicle’. High-sided, yes. Ability to comfortably traverse speed bumps, perhaps not so much.

The lower portion of the Cullinan’s front has been given a once over, while the modified SUV features new running lights too. From there, 1016 has fitted what it describes as “sweeping” arch flares, but what you will liken to “massive”. Though the rear of the car doesn’t look to have been too heavily extended, there is a small bootlip spoiler and the addition of a new rear diffuser.

The introduction of all this carbon fibre has lightened the Cullinan’s kerbweight, though by how much we’re not sure. We are told it makes the luxury SUV “lighter and stronger”, and 1016 says each car can be ready in “weeks, not months, not years”.

Custom Rolls-Royce Cullinan Is An Opulent Overlander

Only a small percentage of individuals in the world can afford the Rolls-Royce Cullinan but you are in another league when you modify it to become an overlapping rig.

German tuner Delta4x4 is in charge of the commission (customer who lives on the Arabian Peninsula) and as you can see in the renderings, it certainly looks the part.

The Rolls SUV sports a beefy brush bar with a total of six spotlights mounting to it. Modified front fenders allow for a nicely integrated snorkel that places the intake point just above the roof.

The addition of a roof rack carries a tent, some recovery equipment, extra fuel and four more auxiliary lamps.

To improve the clearance, you can fit an 80 mm (3.15 inch) suspension lift for €15,000. This Cullinan rides on 20-inch wheels and 33-inch Mickey Thompson off-road tyres (€15,000 for a set). The widened fenders to fit the new rubber cost €14,000. With all of these parts, the SUV sits about 150 mm (5.9 inches) taller than stock (see images below).

The whole conversion will set you back €150,000 (almost R2.5m) which of course excludes the donor car.

Some things are really just unnecessary. and this is one of them.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan gains off-road conversion from German tuner

Upgrades by Delta 4x4 offer enhanced off-road ability for a total cost of £150,000 - minus the car

An off-roader tuner has revealed a modified Rolls-Royce Cullinan for taking on rough terrains, featuring a selection of parts costing a total of €150,000 (£126,213).

The customised Cullinan, which was brought to life by Germany company Delta 4x4, features raised suspension, a roof tent and off-road tyres designed for snow, mud and sand.

A front bar that costs €3900 (£3281) has also been added to improve front-end protection.

here are no fewer than ten PIAA headlights equipped, six of them mounted to the front bar and four fitted above the windscreen.

The tent has been fitted to the Cullinan’s €8000 (£6731) roof rack, which Delta 4x4 claims is also able to hold sand sheets, water canisters, boxes and shovels.

The SUV's 20in wheels are mounted with 33in Mickey Thompson tyres costing €15,000 (£12,621) per set.

Delta 4x4 has designed new wheel-arch extensions to accommodate the wheels, coming in at €14,000 (£11,779).

Lifted Rolls-Royce Cullinan is overlanding ready opulence

Okay, while these images are just hyper realistic renders set in a desert environment, the lifted Rolls-Royce Cullinan job has actually been commissioned which will make the opulent land yacht capable of traversing any terrain it encounters.

German tuner Delta4x4 is responsible for turning their rendered images into a reality but if you find it difficult to find a sizable enough target audience of these already expensive machines, rest assured as it is a sole commission from a customer who resides on the Arabian Peninsula.

He has requested the services of Delta4x4 to convert his R12 M+ luxury SUV into a completely capable and usable off-roader. This includes modified front fenders, an elevated snorkel, a bull-bar with spot lights fitted while a functional roof rack offers more lighting with specialised equipment stored behind. It also has a retractable tent although it is probably far less luxurious than the interior of the plush model.

Tuners have given the Rolls-Royce Cullinan an expedition mod

Bavarian modifications specialists delta4x4 make the RR SUV a little more off-road ready

Rolls-Royce prides itself on the historic exploits of its archive in traversing any terrain, and rightly so. But those cars, engineered to withstand much trauma, wore such talents lightly. Visually, at least.

Enter the Germans. Bavarian tuning outfit delta4x4 has decided what the Cullinan needed was a more visual declaration of its abilities. And… more abilities. The new series of upgrades makes the Rolls-Royce of SUVs fit for quite the expedition.

Details supplied are brief, but they run: 80mm raised ground clearance via big wheels wearing special tyres, and “improved lift” (new suspension). From there, the undercarriage and exhaust get some protection (the latter a new unit that’s freer and more sonorous), while the fitment of a snorkel will allow the Cullinan to go swimming.

There’s a roof rack, there are rally-spec “Japanese PIAA headlights”, and you can option the entire lot for €150,000 to create the ‘OffRoad Tuner’ version. Or of course, just pick the bits you really want individually.

German car modifier reveals sporty converted Rolls-Royce Cullinan

Revised SUV, named the ‘Emperor’, has tweaked dynamics and power raised from 563bhp to 606bhp

A German car designer has revealed a modified, wide-bodied version of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV, with improved aerodynamics, carbonfibre detailing and uprated power.

The revised Cullinan, which has been named the ‘Emperor’, has been hand-engineered by DMC Germany and also features a host of changes to its interior.

Under the bonnet, the Cullinan has been equipped with a new sports exhaust and engine management system.

As a result, the engine's power has risen from 563bhp to 606bhp and torque from 626lb ft to 704lb ft. That means a 0-62mph time of 4.9sec, with a top speed of 175mph.

On the outside, the Cullinan gains a redesigned front end with a carbonfibre bonnet. DMC has also added new wheel arches, which means the Emperor is 4cm wider than the standard car.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan gets the Carlex treatment with new Yachting Edition

Polish tuning firm has turned Roll-Royce’s barge into a boat

Hopefully you don’t get seasick, because Polish tuning firm Carlex Design has puts its ‘Yachting Edition’ magic touch on a Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

To be fair, the Rolls off-roader is hardly a wallflower – what’s the worst you can do to a donor car that starts off as brash as this? – so the behemoth luxury SUV has taken most of the indignity in its stride.

Carlex is mostly known for its eye-searing interior modifications, but it’s had a bit of a go at tarting up the outside of the Cullinan too, just to let everyone know you’re not riding in a stock car.

Saying that, exterior modifications are fairly light touch, with a two-tone black and silver paintjob. The bottom half of the outside has been carefully hand-painted to give that brushed aluminium effect. The original wheels have been replaced with custom 22in alloys to complete the look. There’s no body kit, that’s just what the car looks like from the factory.
