Depends what you want to spend. From looking around the 390cc looks like the best value for money retailing at about R1100. The 5 series starts at about R1599 I think.

The 390cc is not a wet&dry shaver :( , so I will rather go for the 380s-4
 
What about the Braun Cruzer 6? It's the same price as the 390cc, but which is better?

hahaha. Really? For realz? I am starting to consider getting a proper electric shaver. Philips seems to be the one to go for..specially if it will shave my balls too! :D
 
I use a philips. Hirschs has a good range iirc.

Looks cool in my bathroom as well.

If budget is a constraint, look for what replacement head the more expensive model use and get the cheaper version using same head.

Noticed that the cheapies take a like 8+ hours to charge and the more expensive one only like 1 hour. So what you save now, you'll have to cough up to Eskom in the long run.

(And yes I know these are very low current devices.)
 
So I got a Philips Aqua thingy majiggy. Cant remember the actual model name now. Used it the first time last night! LOVE IT! I bought one of those Verimark K@k ones last year and vowed never EVER to waste my money again on a electric shaver...but I am loving this Philips one. Used it with Gel and water and my skin much less irriated afterwards.

Just a question. I threw away the manual without reading it...and now I am not sure. Is it safe to rinse it under the tap while it is switched on just to make sure the blades dont get clogged up?
