I'm having this problem when i have route sentry enabled, i cant seem to log on to any international servers hostings games. i can use it for battlefield 2 but not for zero hour. I'v heard of opening ports or something but dont know how. and i might be having some problems getting websites aswell. How can i fix this thing?

  1. Do you mean you have a blended account (local and international) that you are using for international and a local-only account?
  2. Do the connections work separately (using RASPPPoE's dialups) ?
  3. Did the dual-connection work before?
  4. Using Routesentry, what connection is the traffic being router over? (CTRL + ALT + DEL -> Network -> Observe the graphs)

Also, do you have the server addresses (of both the game servers and the websites that are giving issues) ? Try ping them: Start -> Run -> cmd -> ping -t <add.ress.goes.here>

1. I got local and international seperate one from telkom(international) and one from axxess(local)
2.Yes they do work separately,
3. when connected through route sentry together it will log into zero hour online, but after when i have to connect with my nick name then it cant go any further. Battlefield 2 can connect with or with out routesentry. And this is with RASPPPoE's dial up and from my router and also in modem/bridge
4. My local is routed through my network card, and my international is routed through my USB router.

Only when i uninstall RASPPPoE and route sentry will it work again, even if i switch route sentry off everything and put my password back in my router it still does'nt work .

I have a feeling that its trying to route through the local instead of the international and thats why is says it cant connect. when this can only be done through international, there no local servers for zero hour, i dont know the address for the zero hour server so i cant ping that. I dont think opening ports will work, cause its not like its actually that part thats broken, cause it works but just not with route sentry.

is there someway i can change settings for either RASPPPoE or route sentry that might help?

Ok i fixed it,

I saw that each of the dial-up style connections (Local & International) assignes its own IP address. So the one that was set was from my routers internet connection thats why it was not working, so all i had to do was change to the IP address i needed for it to connect with and badda bing it worked.
