Router and modem

Hi

I have an Huawei E3231 modem and a HG532s router. I plugged in my modem but all I get is a blue light meaning it has connected to the network but I am not getting any data. If I plug a E1750 modem it works fine. Could this be a compatibility issue ie the router does not recognise the E3231 modem? Firmware update?

Hi, you can try a firmware update if available. But first tell me which crell provider's sim and dongle it is.

Hi, it is 8ta and there does not seem to be any new firmware update for the router

What did 8ta say when you contacted them? Did they say that the modem and router are compatible?
Does the router work with another modem?
