Good day.
I hope someone can help.
I am having the following problem:
I have 2 isp's.
When I connect to the one isp with my router - the router console becomes unresponsive and some devices in my house can't connect to the WiFi anymore.
If I switch to the other isp - the problem goes away.
Any suggestions/advice?

EDIT: I have switched back and forth between the two isp's a few times now and the problem described above occurs over and over again.

How do you switch.
Delete and retype user/pass or switch interfaces?

Yeah. I just login and change the username/password and then click "apply" at which point it restarts.

I find it easier to setup a PPPoE connection than to change my router settings. It would also solve your problem that devices, which connect wirelessly, lose connectivity.

Thanks. May I ask how I would go about doing that?

Network and sharing center -> Setup new connection -> Connect to the internet -> Setup connection anyway (if asked) ->No, create a new connection (if asked) -> Broadband (PPPoE). Then enter your isp details

Once done you can dial it in via the little computer thing by the time.

PS: enable PPPoE relay in the Netgear router.

Thanks. Now in the router console should I clear the username and password?

My router doesn't seem to support pppoe relay. DGN2200

Ok so apparently if I upgrade it's firmware it now supports pppoe relay.

Well, you can have one in the router (for Wifi clients to use) or other wired clients, then you can use yours via what i just told you.

But i dont know how your line and account speed is.

I have 2x 1meg accounts and a 2 meg line, if your accounts have no speed limits they will overlap each other and contend for bandwidth.

Ok so I updated my router. Still no pppoe relay. :(
