Hi,
So I went out and got myself the linksys WRT54GL wireless router thinking great, it has wireless plus 4 ethernet ports and a port to plug in your cable to get online. I was wrong
The internet port on the router is an ethernet port, so there is no where to plug in a phone jack.
So how do I get around this now? Do I have to go out and buy something else aswell? I thought that maybe the POTS filters you get from telkom to split the data and phone line might be able to take the phone line in one side, and ethernet in the other, but that's not the case with the old one i've got here. Are there newer ones that can do that? Or is there some sort of cheap device I can buy so I can somehow get my linksys router plugged into the phone line.
Thanks (feeling rather stupid and annoyed
