Hi, I'm looking to sign up for ODS's fibre uncapped, and they require a router that supports L2TP. I'd also like to have it support wireless, to use my good old Nintendo DS online.

I'm looking for any recommendations based on experience - currently I'm looking at the Billion 7402G - thoughts?

I've done a search, but it's hard to find recommendations that are L2TP specific.

Thanks in advance!

The wireless on some Billions is disgusting, just watch out.

Hi

The 7402G and the 7404VGO supports L2TP and wireless.

Sorry to hear about you problem.
Please contact Billion support with your query.

There could be a number of things that effects your wireless connection.
What the walls are made off, how far you going, how many walls you going through, microwaves etc.

The one Eben mentioned is cheap but I don't know what it's like (I don't know that much about routers)

I have a D-Link DSL-2640U I've contacted D-Link for support and they seem helpfull. The D-Link should be about R800 though.

The Planet router i mentioned is actually a Billion or at least it uses the exact same interface.

Thanks guys, apppreciate the advice so far. Any other suggestions?

Billion's L2TP would work the best. There products gets used by several of the large ISP's for uncapped solutions.
