They got that improvement by implementing "variable rate ray tracing", so basically making calls of whether something needs to be traced, e.g. outside of view, or able to "recycle" a previous result as nothing changed.
They should have done the above already beforehand.
Shadow of The Tomb Raider should be interesting as they want to use both DLSS and RTX.
Battlefield V also only uses reflections, not the lighting/shadows one (RTAO I think it's called). Now that one will look amazing if we can get good framerates on that.
