ok... i got this game hoping it would be something new and fresh and better than the previous titles....

i started playing it, looked good and played ok, but then the more i played it against the computer, the more i felt that the game was so unbalanced and full of flaws that i have now deleted it after 1 week... It is almost impossible to retain the ball on the breakdown with mauls etc etc etc...

Can't EA get it right to get atleast one sport game somewhere near ok??? Even as a FIFA fan, i always feel that the game is nowhere near where it can be (like PES...)and i think that EA needs to up the ante a hell of a lot with their next sports release before i even consider buying it....

thats just me venting my frustration at another below average EA game...

This game was developed by their Canadian studio right?
The rosters are all screwed up everyone is playing out of position.

I'll wait for Madden 08 it's not rugby ,but at least EA always seem to go all out when it's a Madden game.
 
this game is bad in so many ways!
holding sprint and two arrow keys (at the same time) to run at an angle isnt possible, it cant register all those keys! atleast percy kicks with his left foot now!!!
 
EA Sports have lost all appeal to me. After the grotesque rehashing I saw in the Tiger Woods series I'm very reluctant to think they're willing to go out and do anything original.
 
I have a game called Rugby league 96 IIRC ::eek::o

Damn addictive for some reason :D
 
I still don't know why some white players are black and black players are white... I don't think there will -ever- be a good rugby game though :(

Hi Blah, this is not the game. It's the keyboard you have, you will need to find a keyboard that can work with the UP ARROW, SIDE ARROW & the SPACEBAR hold in at the same time. :(

I have an old Vision keyboard, it works great.
Also any BTC keyboard will work! :D ;)

Keyboards that doesn't work for me:

Windows Keyboard
Turbo Trak Keyboard
Samsung Keyboard

The same issue appears when you play Need for Speed and you through dounuts and want to pull up the brake. :p

Anyone that can please confirm what KEYBOARD they are using and if running sideways (to any 4 side) on fullspeed works. Thanks! ;)

was planning on getting new keyboard, but couldnt be bothered about rugby 08 anymore, getting into tiger and nhl 08, then fifa is soon aswell!
