Would you try new combinations against Italy before the Tri-nations or try them during the Tri-nations?

PdV needs to know who works where and with who incase there is injuries during the Tri-nations. The aim of this game was to test new combinations which he will continue to do next week and win. He accomplished both which is good imho.
 
Mmmmm - agree with player experimentation when it no longer matters BUT...

play like this in PE when there is no altitude advantage and the outcome can be very different.
 
i mentioned that he was a bit of a thug but was told he was a good player, oh well.
 
Second Test in East London next week.

I too hope P Diddy puts in our FULL Tr-Nations team against Italy for the last game.
 
I really think that Matfield needs a rest, so we can play the full team accept for Matfield.

It should be him (Parisse) or Steenkamp in my opinion, I never saw who it was and they didn't interview the man of the match.
