Well I thought that since the cricket has one the rugby could also benefit from a similiar thread.

I will start it of with the groups for the 2015 RWC:

Full draw:

Pool A - Australia, England, Wales, Oceania 1, Repechage winner

Pool B - South Africa, Samoa, Scotland, Asia 1, Americas 2

Pool C - New Zealand, Argentina, Tonga, Europe 1, Africa 1

Pool D - France, Ireland, Italy, Americas 1, Europe 2

Quarter-finals:

QF1: Winner of Pool B v Runner-up Pool A

QF2: Winner of Pool C v runner-up Pool D

QF3: Winner of Pool A v Runner-up Pool B

QF4: Winner of Pool D v runner-up C

Semi-finals:

SF1: Winner QF1 v Winner QF2

SF2: Winner QF3 v Winner QF4
 
Wonder if the Ausie's will make it in Pool A.... At least we don't have all the Pacific "Bone collecting" nations in our pool like we did in 2007.
 
Schedule for Springboks home test matches for the following three years which includes a new way tests will be held as they are now effectively owned by SARU.

We could not have asked for a better world Cup draw with Japan and Uruguay
 
Nice group for the Boks, and as a Scot, it couldn't have been any better for us also.
As I explained to a fellow jock before the draw, Wales dropping out of the top 8 is actually pretty good for Scotland, and so it turned out.

You see, we are really at a low point just now but that is temporary I'm sure, both for us and for Samoa's lofty position, and in 3 years I expect the turnaround to be complete and natural order restored.

So we will go into the WC with Samoa a few places below us and the tier 2 and 3 thing reversed.

And with the Boks as the top tier seed in the group, we are certainly not scared of you if you look back at the last few years results with a win and a couple of close games ;)

I think we can play a SA "A" team and blood some youngsters in this little tournament. This will allow us to rest a couple of the senior players (or over worked ones).

Yes, but the franchises will not allow that.... Have a look at how they played a couple of senior players into the ground. Jannie, Bekker, JdV, JP, etc etc.....
