Its our obligation as consumers to moan, groan and complain. The actions of some of the ISPs are commendable but at the end of they day they have their own interests to protect first and foremost.
 
sure.

all I can say is, for R299, its well worth it, and I already got mine, and its working at speeds closer to 1024k than 512k.

people on here just complain all the time. they will never see any good.

I mean surely i should be complaining, im paying:
Phone line rental - R99
1024DSL rental - R516
2gig/28gig IS - R150ish
1gig prepaid webafrica - R70 (for when IS is down,spend more time on this account)
30gig IS local only - R135

Now im stuck with almost 50gigs of useless local gigs and what international IS does offer is totally useless for anything worthwhile...
 
Then get SAIX.

Someone on IRC propably gave u the limited time only special that Openweb has.
Wich was :
10GB's of bandwidth (Local and International)
* Works for 10 days from Wed, 13 September. (13 Sept to 22 Sept).
* Allows 1 concurrent connection
* Runs at 512k.

Cost - R299

10GB is not bad, but still IS connection, and I dont like I.S unless its local :)
